A warm welcome to Verdeutschbessern! :)

Finally it is time! We used the month of March to make this website and are currently very proud of ourselves, that we made it.If you see any mistakes, please let us know! But first: A warm welcome to "Verdeutschbessern mit Sabrina"!

First we'd like to introduce ourselves:

Sabrina Mielke, that's me. I run this website and founded Verdeutschbessern. For more then 10 years I've been teaching German as a foreign language and since the pandemic I'm doing that exclusively online. Teaching is great fun to me and I find it especially exciting to get to know my students better. I#ve been living in Berlin for about 13 years now and have worked at different language schools, until I realised, that I'm much more interested in designing my own classes and to make as much space and time for my students, as I see fit. I can try out my own course ideas and continuously imrove my offer with your help. Learn more about me on the About us page.

Daniel Rojas Silva is a former student of mine and since March 2022 he's working on Verdeutschbessern with me. He's a incredible help with the website and social media. When you see posts on instagram or facebook, he's likely to have planned and published them. Working with him is great fun and he's also responsible to help Spanish speaking prospective students, when they have questions. Daniel is about to move to Germany, since he's planning to study sports here. You can read about that process soon in our blog. He'll write down the ins and outs of the application process for you. If you want to learn more about Daniel, have a look at the About us page.

Voucher for our launch

We're starting with the website this month and to celebrate that with you we have a voucher for you.

If you book group classes through the webpage between April 1st and 17th 2022 zwischen dem 01. und dem 17.04.2022, you'll get 20% off using the code LAUNCH. This offer does not include single or private classes. Have a look at our classes and find the right one for you!

Poll about future workshops

We're also planning to offer workshops for you. That should be short classes that happen over one weekend and take up about 6-12 hours. In these classes we want to let you in on specific knowledge and train specific skills. That's why we'd like to know from you now, what you think and if you're interested in these types of classes at all. If so, which topics are interesting to you? That's why we made a poll. It's online until the end of April and you'll help us immensely, if you take 5 mins. to complete it. Thanks in advance!

Community blog

In this blog I'd to introduce you to some interesting topics, like books that I read (in German of course) and that could be interesting for you or music tips and generally cultural tips. But I'll also try to write different texts, that are suitable for different levels. Daniel will also contribute every once in a while. Moreover I#d like to open this blog to you, my students. So if you'd like to participate and write an article in German about something (of course we'll through it together before publishing), tell me about your idea and we publish your experiences here. Especially interesting to other potential or current students would be experiences with German administration, universities, the educational system etc. But there are no limits to your imagination.

In this sense: Let's go. I'm looking forward to seeing you in my classes!
